The Ledger is a civic transparency project. We collect, structure and publish residents' experiences with South African municipalities so that "service delivery" stops being an abstract phrase and starts being a measurable record.
Every report filed here is part of the public record. Every excuse documented becomes harder to repeat. Every resolution time logged makes the next failure harder to deny.
We are independent, non-partisan, and not affiliated with any municipality or political party.
